29!

On July 10th Michael turned the BIG 29!!!!!!!!

We went on a date Saturday night to the shooting range and then out for a nice birthday dinner just the TWO OF US!

The next day was his actual birthday so we had some close friends and family over for a BBQ and swimming party.

San Francisco

This past weekend we went to San Francisco to see Michaels brother Daniel, his wife Kristen and our darling niece Alia. We had a great time just hanging out, taking walks, eating in, playing at the park and watching the girls play together.

They loved sharing snacks and sippy cups in the double stroller.
We knew it was nap time when we saw this......

Love you cousin Alia! So fun to be with family, we had a great stay thank you!

Fourth of JULY!

We went to San Diego again for the fourth. We had a great time. We went to parades, walks on the pier, lots of swimming in the ocean, building sand castles, watching fireworks, BBQ's, meeting up with old friends and hanging at Michaels parents house. Here a some pictures of our fun week!

Michaels oldest brother Brian is a life guard in the summer so we got to go visit him at his tower.

Oh how we miss the Marshall family! Loved hanging wish it was longer!





We had a great time. We missed hanging out with all the cousins on the beach, hope next year we can all get together again! Mom and Dad Marquardt thanks for a FANTASTIC trip! Loved every minute.

"pretties"

Earlier yesterday morning Grace found some of my jewelry in my closet. She tried on a "few" pieces and wore them around the house. We had to run a few errands in the afternoon and she INSISTED that she wear her "pretties" into the stores. She cracks me up... NO NO NO mommy! WHATEVER we got some funny looks but she was a happy shopper! Cant complain...

Slip- n -Slide

Michaels grandma was in town a few weekends ago and she got Grace her VERY OWN slip- n- slide!

She had a BLAST!

Mothers day

I am so blessed to be able to be a mother to this sweet Girl. I am overwhelmed to think that she is mine and was chosen just for me. I learn so much from her everyday. She teaches me to be patient and more Christlike. Motherhood is extremely challenging and yet the most rewarding thing I have ever done.

I am so grateful for my own mamma for all she does for me. She is a woman of faith. She strives to be obedient and righteous in all that she does. She serves anyone and everyone and she learns to love who she serves. She has taught me to always stand up for what I know is right. I am so blessed that I was sent to her on this earth. I am also grateful for the knowledge that I have that families are forever.
I love you mamma Morphy. Hope I can be half the mom you were to me!

Easter

We had such a fun Easter this year. We got together with friends and family to celebrate.

Here are the kids ready to go on their egg hunt! Kate, Charlie, Kia and Grace.

My cousin Samantha goes to ASU now so we were lucky enough to have her come over as well. She was helping Grace gets lots of eggs.
Even though Grace kept taking breaks to eat the candy inside :)
My old friend Kiara from Utah and her son Kia came to join the fun as well.
The Smith gang hosted a YUMMY meal and such a fun afternoon.
