Updates

Our Grace is growing, she just had a check up and weighed in at 14lbs!! Chubby!
She now is into textures, I am constantly snuggling her with new fabrics. Silky is her favorite
Smiles and more smiles!
We think we got our first giggle out of her. She loves when dad shakes her tummy and makes a funny noise. I cant belive how big and old she is getting. It really makes sense now when moms have told me to ENJOY every part good or bad, it seems to being flying.

Thanksgiving in San Diego

This year for Thanksgiving was a special one for Michael and I. This has been our first year since we have been married that we could spend together without having a football game on the same day. We headed to San Diego to be with the Marquardts.

Cousin LOVE...

Here is the table mom Marquardt served 14 of us. It was sooo yummy!!

We had such a fun week. We took walks, ate, watched football, ate, shopped, saw movies, and did I say ate............ Thanks to mom and dad Marquardt for such a nice week. We love going home and visiting with everyone. Miss everyone already!

Train Park

Today Grace and I met friends and cousins at the train park in Scottsdale.

Grace was to short to ride the carousel but we had fun watching and waving to everyone.

All in all a fun day, I love AZ in the fall/winter so many things to do.

Lazy Saturday

We had a great Saturday just hung out and went for a walk together. Even though she doesn't look that happy she really is. It is getting CHILLY in AZ!!!

Blessing day

Grace was blessed this past weekend in California at my parents home. Here are some photos of her big day!

Michael gave our Grace such a wonderful and sincere blessing.

Michael's older brother, Daniel, and his wife Kristin had their baby Alia two days before Grace arrived. They live in San Francisco and were able to come to the blessing. This was the first time the cousins met each other and they were both blessed on the same day. They became instant friends.

It was such a special day for our small family and thanks to all that were able to be there. After a fun filled weekend we made it back to AZ this evening.

Phoenix Zoo

Today Grace and I met up with our friends Jeannie and Tanner at the Phoenix Zoo. We had so much fun, well Grace did not make a peep since she was taking her morning nap but we still had a great time seeing the animals and visiting with friends.

Love this little guy! I cant wait till Grace is old enough to run around with him and play. Thanks again guys for a fun morning. Hope to do it again soon!

Tongue

Grace has now discovered her tongue. The other morning I went in to check on her and she was laying in her crib eyes wide open putting her tongue in her mouth and then out again. She is now so much more alert, we are having tons of fun.

Tummy Time

So, last Tuesday Gracie started rolling from her tummy to her back. During tummy time her Daddy likes to make her roll ten times with a little bit of rest between each repetition. Maybe it is the football player inside of him. This was her last roll of the day and by this time she was feeling over worked. Now that she has it down Dad is going to try rolling from her back to her tummy.

Nursery

Now that Grace is a month old we have moved her out of her bassinet and into her crib. She has slept in her crib the last two nights like a champ.
This is one of our favorite places to snuggle with little miss.
Michael and I had so much fun putting the nursery together this summer, we are happy Grace is able to enjoy it now.
