Birthday Boy!

My man turned 26 last week! We are getting so dang OLD! Not really but for some reason 26 seems old to me. We had a very chill and fun birthday just like Michael likes. I made him breakfast in bed that morning and then we both had to go to work. Michael got a massage later that day and then we met up for dinner. Such a YUMMY place!
After that we went out to Glendale to share his birthday cupcakes! Sprinkles cupcakes to be correct.
It started to pour rain as we got to their home so this is the birthday boy soaking wet blowing out his candle. Hope his wishes come true.

Finally he got his "favorite birthday gift ever"  a riffle gun! I love seeing him so happy!

I hope my baby had a good birthday! He is such a amazing person and friend. I am so excited to spend so many more birthdays together. Happy Birthday Michael Kimo

Happy Fourth!

Michael and I got to visit mom and dad Marquardt in San Diego this fourth of July. We had such a great time! So nice to get out of our AZ heat for awhile and be with family.
One night we went to the Del Mar fair which was a blast! We got to go on a few rides and we also got to eat yummy food. Funnel cakes, corn dogs, garlic fries, slurpee's, cotton candy you name it and one us probably had a bite of it. For some reason calories don't seem to count when you go to any kind of fair or carnival.

The Girls! My sis in laws Malia and Jenn

On the day of the fourth we went to the beach, it was nice to just relax, read, swim, fly kites and just be together. Cool Shades baby!
Michael and his sister decided it would be fun to bury dad in the sand, what a good SPORT!
Later that night we had a BBQ and watched the firework show from mom and dad's balcony. We had such a great view. Kaila, our niece insisted sitting by her new best friend Michael while watching the fireworks. Thanks mom and dad for such a great visit, we always get so spoiled when we go home. We had a wonderful time and it was very hard to leave the amazing San Diego weather and head back to our heat. Hope to visit again SOON!

Girls Camp 2008

This year I was asked to go to Girls camp for my church. I got to be a Cabin Mom also known as Mama "M"!! There was another cabin Mom with me and we were in charge of 12 girls aged 14-16. It was like a slumber party every night. We had makeover nights, hikes, archery, dance parties in our cabin and lots of boy talk.
Chillen in the cabin with the girls. We took out all of the bunk beds and put all of our matresses on the floor and basically never slept.
One of the girls in my group had hair that never ended. We all talked her into cutting it off. SHE DID IT! 13 inches later she was a new woman. Don't worry I made her call her Mom before we did it. She loves it!
Savy was one of my girls who I absolutely loved
This is a total typical girls camp picture: no makeup, crazy hair, funny poses, and comfy clothes. We call this our " Myspace or Facebook" pose.

This was such a fun time I will never forget. Hope I get to go in years to come!

Girls Night Out!

I got together with a few girlfriends I haven't seen in awhile and it was pure FUN! I still can't believe we got to the restaurant at 6:30p.m and were asked to leave at 10:30, because they were closing. We then took our conversation out to the parking lot until midnight. It was one of those nights you just wanted to keep chatting away with the girls! We need to do Girl Nights more often!
